Frank Sachs will share the origins of America's Flag Day and why this holiday commemorates the date in June of 1777 when the emerging United States, formally colonies, approved the design for our first national flag. Together we will examine the origins of the flag, what is has come to represent, how our use of it is rather unique in the world and how it continues to symbolize America’s founding principles.
